Cambridge stay (summer 2018)
During three months (July-September 2018) I had the opportunity to stay at Meritxell Huch’s lab (Gurdon Institute, Cambridge University). There, I started a new project, in collaboration with Meri Huch and Beatriz Martínez labs, aimed to edit liver organoids from alpha 1 anti-trypsine patinets using CRISPR technologies.
It was wonderfull to share those summer days with Luigi, Nicole, Robert, Lucia, Nikitas, Patricia, Flaminia, Mikel, Kathy and, of course, Meri. I am sure that with this project we will obtain very interesting tools and results. This stay was funded by a Salvador de Madariaga Fellowship from Spanish Education MInistry.
